    The biggest worry I have with the NX is that with the Wii U and 3DS still being quite new, hopefully they are not planning for a too-early release.

    Thanks for sharing Just3DS. I opened up the 3DS yesterday and didn't see anything wrong with the hardware. I will just set it on hold for now and come back to it a bit later.

    Thanks for the further comment guys. Unfortunately I wasn't able to open up the 3DS today since the screws were a real pain and decided to get a proper screwdriver tomorrow instead of wrecking them. I tried calibrating the analog stick and it was perfectly fine, responded as it should...

    @.44 Magnum : Wow, that's something I didn't think about. I didn't have anything important so I just went ahead and formatted. However, no luck. Still the same. As per gamesquest1's suggestion I will try to open it up today and see if there's anything that might be causing it on the hardware...

    Just made an edit on my reply since I saw your private message. "I updated the Firmware to 7.1 by inserting the Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney genuine game in. The issue still persists - up button is as if it's being pressed down. I can confirm that when I tried to play the original cartridge...
