Hacking Anyway to fix bricked wiis after running SPM?
Mine was set to English and it's now bricked. I never connected my Wii to the net, never did any updates (other than the one that came with the legit SSX Blur i bought before i had my chip). Now it's totally useless apart from a stupid black screen with a web address error on it! Damn my stupidity!- lobs123

Thanks for the advice guys, just feel such an idiot. Here in the UK it's so hard to get a wii (much like everywhere else i guess) and i've gone and manked mine, who knows when i'll be able to get a new one. £52.95 seems like a good price to me to have a brand new wii, just concerned about the...- lobs123

Yeah that's what i thought, hence the "just got it the other day" vibe i put to the guy at Nintendo. But i thought if i removed the serial number there would be no way of proving that i put that chip in there (unless there is another serial number on the motherboard). Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
