    Or a combination of the Buttons on the Wii itself (Reset, Eject, Power). I don't think they would announce access to the Wiimote in GC Mode (which would make Homebrew with the wiimote possible) just by the way. This would be another great pro to buy their chip. So I really wouldn't count on...

The drivechip only has influence on skipping the checking routines, not on the region checking, so I'm pretty sure this is not a "feature" more like a new discovery(it wouldnt surprise me if it will be listed on the Wiinja / CycloWiz specs soon too). Since there is no possible way...

    Sounds nice, best modchip out there now. But it's not region unlocking, NTSC-U / NTSC-J just doesnt matter, I'll guess thats the case with the CycloWiz and the Wiinja too.

    That wouldn't make sense. No GC modchip would run on the Wii, and if you managed to make the Wii able to read GC backups with a new chip, than it would definitly be capable of running Wii backups too. LilaQ

    I can not confirm your problems. I have a PAL Console (Germany) and after 48hours of standby you can _barely_ feel a little warmth on both sides, almost not noticeable.
