    I have an issue with the SNES core, european roms are not functioning properly, the sound is all messed up, it's pitched like the game runs at x4 but the gameplay speed is actually correct.     When I add a game shortcut to Home page and try to launch it right after, Tico freezes completely. When I add a steamGridDB cover, if I change my mind and try to apply another cover it will fail to load. Deleting the first cover and rescanning the core library will usually make it work.

    duckstation gives me this error on startup with every game since I turned on retroachivements.

    Thank you so much ! The game works and the French dialogue is now replaced by English. The button prompts and some stuff is still in French, it's no biggie I'm just saying for reference.

    Indeed I can launch the game if I remove the message file. The extra text is now blank as to be expected.

    I had a random idea in my bed before falling asleep : what if my issue is related to my Switch system langage ? My Switch is French. So popping out of bed I immediately tried changing my Switch langage to English, and poof now it works ! :lol: Is there something you can do about it @Gaprelrose...

    I just tried to redo the patching process from the beginning with different dumps of the game and I'm still unable to get the patched game to launch, it crashes at startup on my Switch. When I delete the patch from the SD card the game works fine.
