    I've been out of the loop for awhile, i just remember the app being tcpgecko and needing a software running on a pc, it injected the codes to the wii u through the internet. I'm sure i got the codes here on gbatemp, I can't remember the thread though It's not mario kart 8, but i had problems...

    If it's just for some unlockables, you could try gecko codes. It's been awhile and i don't know if this is outdated by now, but i used tcpgecko for modifying my existing save file. I played the shit out of this game and unlocked most of the stuff i wanted, but i wanted to get the amiibo outfits...
