Homebrew Ds PDF Reader?
There is Ands-PDF, but it was always more of a proof of concept than a functioning application. As others have said, your best option may be to use Calibre to convert to ePub and read with DSLibris (or ikureader. I haven't tested its ePub support lately).- Kilos

Homebrew Problem with AlltoAVI converter
BatchDPG simply has problems with some files, and the easiest way to deal with them for me is to use AlltoAvi to transcode the video and then use BatchDPG to convert to DPG. BatchDPG also has problems muxing audio in my experience, at least in version 1.60 Unoffical. And Super is temperamental...- Kilos

Does it tell you "H.264 Video Detected! Do you want AlltoAvi to switch to a more restricted special mode"? If so, click yes then make sure to choose the correct framerate (it will be listed in the other window in the top-right). Otherwise, if you don't get that, try choosing "Force no skipping...- Kilos

Homebrew FTP for DS?
FileNinja ? Don't know how DSFTP works, but FileNinja is an FTP client, so you'd have to have the server running on your computer (such as with FileZilla). Unfortunately it's slow too and freezes when in a directory with 400+ items. There's also Lilou Box, but I've never really looked into it...- Kilos

@Xdqwerty, wire is definitely more practical IMO. Hell these days you can charge a laptop over USB, can't charge a laptop wirelessly though. Wireless chargers, even "fast" ones, are only good for slowly charging devices, plus they generate a good amount of heat too+1

Power banks can be incredible depending on your needs. 1) I have a 100w capable one that can charge my laptop. 2) Same one can also power my soldering iron (though is overkill for it) 3) a BIG power bank I have with an AC outlet on it can power my desktop weed vape during a power outage
