    Yes I have updated the F_core, like I said, to the most recent version. And a contact problem could be possible, but is highly unlikely because the M3i Zero is recognised just fine by the DS Lite, and the 3DS recognises both legal 3DS cards and legal DS cards.

    For some reason, my 3DS (Ver. 2.1.0-4E) won't recognize my M3i Zero (Original version, not GMP-Z003), while DS Lite recognizes it perfectly fine.
