Hardware Is the thermal pad on the battery charging chip necessary?

I notice the 2R2 inductor next to BQ would heat up around 70C when playing&charging, not sure how BQ goes but the thermal pad definitely help

looks good. top side Extra gnd seems unnecessary though. The two square ground pads under cap could help stopping flex moving Around, I would say keep them.

    Oled Volume Resistor

doubt that's an inductor but not resistor. Based from OG and lite design, there are always 100~150 ohm resistor on buttons

delete cfw-syanad entry from hekate_ipl.ini and enable dns_mitmfrom day1, you should be 2steps away from dirty sysnand

Help Accidently blue screened my switch!!!

file transfer can be done through Hekate(even from another switch). Boot 0/1 can be generated from emmchhaccgen on PC with prod.key from the Blue screen console. If you can't/don't know how to make unpatched switch into RCM mode, you are on your own.

    Hardware Power supply problem

Switch battery voltage max out at 4.23v-ish, 3.9v is pretty much closed to 90% charged, NOT VERY LOW. Also If you are expecting 15v goes into the battery terminal, I think you would see some popcorn out of your battery BMS board. This battery designated charging voltage is 4.35v max I believe...

So you are on HOS FW 18.0.0. Hekate 6.1.1 and AMS 1.7.0prelease should be able to support this verison. I believe you need to rebuild you nand using Tegraexplorer system_wipe to FW18.0.0

RP2040 Flex Pad came off is it B,C or somewhere else

as long as D point has correct diode reading you are fine. The pad under D label on that resistor is ground point, and can be ignore
