ROM Hack Suggestion Digimon Cyber Sleuth Complete Collection Save Editor?

For the life of me I'm unable to get this to work from either Switch to PC or PC to Switch. Using the --savedecrypt / --saveencrypt flags right? It looks like the Switch save is 32 bytes longer than a PC-decrypted save, if it helps any.

Hacking Proof TX used code stolen from #reswitched

So you're saying that TX used pre-existing code that magically supported loading XCI's, and then on top of that adapt it for card 2 support?

Homebrew Official WUP Installer - Title installer + Firmware spoofing [3.x - 5.4.0]

I'm assuming NUSGrabber isn't grabbing the latest Splatoon version now?

Hacking "No Gateway 3DS card found!"

Oh, right; I kept up with my problem solving on maxconsole and not here as well. Turns out it was a hardware problem. Under the FPGA chip, there's the two exposed regions on the board; the leftmost region is missing the thingy that the rightmost region has (I cannot for the life of me recall...

Hacking [Tutorial] How to downgrade from 9.2 and install CFW without owning Gateway card

Theoretically yes; should be any retail games that use SDK4 and below (with the usual exceptions). Homebrew installs and launches fine. In short, it's all up to how the .cia was compiled. DevMenu and other .cia's should remain, but there more problems besides that. Updating wouldn't work, as...

Hacking [Tutorial] How to downgrade from 9.2 and install CFW without owning Gateway card

Until the CFW's launcher.dat is updated to where it can: - be loaded from the browser exploit - use an emuNAND/redNAND 8.x+ you need a sysNAND of 4.x

Hacking Install dev menu without flash cart, can it be done?

I've had better luck using Gateway's exploit and Launcher_GW.dat (renamed as Launcher.dat, of course). Waiting for the system to load the SD card titles also helps. The bottom screen should flash white, and then swap to redNAND (modified emuNAND) afterwards. If it never flashed, or it hangs...

Hacking CFW on downgraded SysNAND - Thread

Retail games? Getting ready to make my own CIA, so I'll report back if it works. Homebrew? BlargSNES, GameYob, and CitrAGB all works. You must have some form of DS flashcart (you might get lucky and use a Gateway-encrypted launcher.dat and use the browser exploit to load it if you're on 4.5...

Hacking CFW on downgraded SysNAND - Thread

Both DevMenu and BigBlueMenu installed fine and dandy (the *.db trick didn't work; luckily I backed up my eShop titles). Tested Cubic Ninja first, but I either get an error about the SD card being removed, a black screen, or the splash screen hanging. While I do have it, I didn't use it one...

Hacking CFW on downgraded SysNAND - Thread

Managed to get the 4.x CFW installed on a downgraded XL from 9.2. Cubic Ninja refuses to load off of it as a CIA, however.

Hacking "No Gateway 3DS card found!"

Both GW 3.0.1 and GW 2.7 failed, as I figured. Oh well. I got a system on 4.2 now, so I can occupy myself with CFW for the meanwhile.

Hacking "No Gateway 3DS card found!"

Response from Modchipsdirect: It's a shame you can't directly email Gateway and ask if it's a software issue. Then again, if it is such, then I'm sure I could downgrade to 4.5 when the files release, and then use an older Gateway launcher.dat. I guess the best thing to do is wait it out, hope...

Hacking "No Gateway 3DS card found!"

Mosty likely; tried to force FPGA update, the progress bar kept looping about 5% through, and then returned an error code of 00000006. I sure hope modchipsdirect warranties it.

Hacking "No Gateway 3DS card found!"

I tried both my 3DS and 3DSXL, and both fail to boot into Gateway mode. However, running the diagnostics on both systems shows that it's accessing the card (and both systems can read retail carts fine). System's SD cards are both formatted to FAT32, a fresh copy of Launcher.dat (twice tried with...
