    I have tried removing all partitions and creating one wbfs, and the issue still persists so I am convinced the hard drive is the problem. Just gonna bite the bullet and buy a different one.

    @Bloodangel Use a partitioning program such as acronis disk director to resize your ntfs partition to something a bit smaller and create a new volume with the new un-formatted space and format using wbfs manager.

    I did try returning to the home menu to see if that would help it and it didn't seem to work. The configurable USB loader pulls up the wbfs partition each time i load it, and even when i set it to default it seems to touch the fat32 or ntfs side as well forcing me to reformat that side.
