    I personally use 6.20 Pro-B4 and I love it. however, if you are new to hacking I would say go with 6.35 Pro-B3/4 (for simplicity sake, since you won't have to downgrade) Maybe play around with the 6.35 LCFW's and once you are in your comfort zone, then perhaps you could try 6.20 CFWs, who knows...

    The PSP 3001 and PSP Go can both me fully hacked (So long as its not the 09g Mootherboard). If you get the LBP LE you should be alright, I would just do a google search on what firmware & Motherboard they have. I suggest you use CFW 6.20 Pro-B4 Perma. This is a permanant firmware not a LCFW...

    I concur. This sounds like an issue with your motherboard. Short of replacing the whole thing (would look on eBay for a cheap one), your only other option would be to replace the PSP itself. On a side note though, If you can not salvage it and would be interested in selling/donating for CFW...

    sadly I don't think you will be able to recover from this. The 300X series are very tricky (in terms of hacking in comparrison to the 100X & 200X). Basically, once you are bricked there is no going back. MAYBE if you can access your Flash0 you could overwrite your .prx's back to default...
