Just got back from an early screening today...I will just say that it was pretty intense, immersive, very disturbing, and stayed pretty faithful to the aesthetics of the Kane Pixel Youtube series.
A new zombie film from Yeon Sang-Ho, director of Train to Busan:
This one features a new original story in a different timeline from the previous zombie films the director did, and it seems to be going back to the style seen in Train to Busan...
I hear that. Well for me I pirated a copy of it early just because I didn't want to watch it in theatres cause I knew from reviews that it was bad. I just had to see what all the fuss was about. And oh boy... they really destroyed sh 2 with this...
This somehow reminds me of that Japanese TV show segment called "Soramimi Hour" (Warning: some basic knowledge of Japanese may be needed to understand):
Yes it is as BAD as everyone is saying...They got the director for the original movie to do this one, and still somehow managed to put out something even worse than the second movie...I won't get into the poorly done CGI/botched character plots...
I've already said this before in another thread, but he's pretty much carrying the franchise on his shoulders now, and I'm pretty sure they will get him to do every sequel/prequel/spinoff/multiverse crossover they plan to milk out of this franchise.
