Interesting. So the timings required by the SDK code are that strict, and SD is that slow? Yeah, I'm not sure how you could have user upgradable storage without using microsd. Unless you could just clip NAND chips in? Depends how standardised they are I guess.

That might be a good idea, but any of the existing flashcarts actually "proper" flashcarts - i.e. emulating the cartridge protocol like flashcarts for retro consoles? Or do they all "just" patch the games' code in-memory? I know there are very compatible ones (Acekard2i/AKAIO being the best?)...

I downloaded XP on dialup when it came out. Overnights for like a week. cuz I couldn't tie up the phone line during the day. It was so awesome and worked so great going from ME to XP.
I'm beefing with a neighbor currently each time I ask him for help with something he makes bs excuses then ignores my calls text but seems to randomly speak when I'm done with the project after doing things to help him
