    Got in our sample copies of HDMIkey yesterday! Will be giving them a good work out tomorrow. Anyone want any paticular games tested? Heres a piccy of the retail box(It looks neat! - similar to the iphone box) if everyones interested.

    Modchips for the wii console are undetectable.(So far). I would recommend getting a Wiikey2 as the D2Ckey is obsolete and no longer supported.

    For other people reading this thread. I would recommend the Wii DVD Drive cleaning kit. Should set you back a bout $8, lot less risky for the inexperienced.

    What system software version are you running? Some of the older ones wont play the newer games without the correct IOS system files installed. Id suggest you hunt down the latest IOS files and load them up via homebrew channel and try again.

    Could be the laser dieing.... Could also be the chip failing as well, we have had replaced some of the wiikey1 chips for customers who were complaining about similar issues.     You can install chips on 100% of consoles released to this date. Some of them will need a chip like the drivekey/flatmod etc But all of them can be chipped
