    I am trying to put wiigators launcher on a wii for my friend but their wii is using 2.x firmware I tried to run the twilight hack and install the latest hbc but it just reset the wii. Is there any way I can update this wii to 3.x firmware without using a game or wifi?

    I have mainly been using DVD+R's and have had no problem. Before you go out and buy some DVD-R have you tried updating the firmware of your drive?

    Just out of curiosity how do you know that it makes no difference what speed you burn at , I'm not saying your making it up but some reading on the matter would be nice I've been wondering this now for days.

    I burn mine at 4x on good quality dvd+r media. these are bitset to dvd-rom and I dont ever get any problems
