    As Ryoku83 said, do a syscheck and post here. Assuming you want to play it through disc channel as it is a retail disc, chances are you are missing IOS57 - which would be the reason for your error ( I believe this game requires IOS57-v5661 or later ). You can grab that with modmii and install.

    I have now you suggested it Thank you for your reply btw Initially v63-compat.dol seemed to work ok, albeit under ios249. It loaded fine and the remotes synched. I was getting hopeful but from the 5th try onwards it failed to mount my drive with the message 'device is not reponding'...

    Had a similar issue. Up to 61-222 I had absolutely no problems, quick flash of blue in the disc slot then quickly loaded, no problems with remotes. Since 62-222 (and as I recall the 62 betas) sometimes getting longer blue led from disc slot, occasionally get 2 long flashes, slow to start loader...

    Doh! Yup, loads here on ios249 (same as yours) also. Don't have time at the mo to play but at least I know it does actually load now. :-) First game that hasn't loaded with ios222 for me so far, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

    in all honesty i'd recommend fat32 over wbfs any day. the only 'cons' as such being the 4gb file size limit aren't really even an issue; games above that size are split automatically by most methods of ripping/adding. use configurable usb loader and wii backup manager and you won't go far wrong...
