    Thanks! I should have made a bigger prep at the start but wanted to be conservative to make it neater, it just made it so much harder. How do i check if the next layer is exposed? Is the next layer ground? - if it is ii could just do a continuity check with ground in that area

    I'm in the same boat, I changed the motherboard (which was upper IPS, lower TN), to a new 3ds XL with both TN screens and im getting the ghosting as well. I have tried changing the HWCAL files, but no success so far. Would be interested to know how you solved your one.
