    Maybe this is obvious but it might help someone else with the same issue. When ever i went to go.gateway-3ds.com my console would just freeze. I tried using a 32GB sd card but it wouldn't work and then I tried my original 2GB card and it worked the first time.

    It just hangs at #7: Clean memory and release kobject.. I got it further once but it had garbled gfx and still locked up. :/

    Well i'm not too impressed by the build quality either. It's very hard to remove my r4i from the 3DS. And i also had problem to get the 3DS to recognize the r4i (the white card).
