    I was using homebrew apps such as JKSV to back up my saves since 2022 so I doubt it can cause bans as I was also able to go online in 2025. And I read on Reddit and here that people got banned for 2nd hand games as some other people made copies for flash cart before them but Nintendo unbanned...
