    I am assuming that you are using Gamma... read up on it and search the compatibility list... SSBB is broken on gamma. DL dvd's aren't supported so when it goes to load the cut scene it breaks... you are wasting media by reburning.

    soft mod it now... as long as you don't do anything crazy you shouldn't need starfall anyway. Just follow everyones directions and make sure you match the version of your consol to the directions and you'll be fine. I don't have starfall... mostly because I refuse to use the IOS downgrader...

    Turns out it is a media issue. A different ISO also crapped out with the same disks while I got another set of disks to work. I haven't had ne luck with the fujifilm dvd's... Maxell is a different story for the DVD+R DL's... They work fine and were on sale @ office depot.
