    Just a correction: M3DS Real with Touchpod 4.7hX: You can save, but there is freezing after a certain amount of events.

    yes, the black screen that comes up when you've triggered 24-ish events. Haven't gotten to goldenrod yet, but I'm assuming that the AP overload that happens then will, in fact, happen.

    HG works on my M3 Real with the latest firmware. Well, when I say works, i still get the counter black screen, but saves work.

    Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it.
