Actually, the scripts that are up for editing have already been translated. However, there are still minor mistakes here and there that needs correcting, so if you are confident in your English grammar skills and have some free time on your hands then give it a try. To help out with the editing...
Thanks for taking the time to explain that, I also noticed that a few people were confused but I just commented that you'd probably take care of it.
That's nice to hear, and I also can't say that I'm either of those. It does help having some prior understanding of the Japanese language...
I agree, and to help shift things back into the right direction. I finished revising all of the scripts.
Unfortunately, I'll have to pass on that group hug.
I understand that it can be frustrating trying to play a partial translation of a game and having to stop once you reach the untranslated parts, but that's just it. It's only a partial translation at the time.
In the mean time, I can't help noticing that a lot of the posts that are being made...

I guess the game doesn't reuse a fix translation for なんて then.
In that case, I already scanned through the mails and edited the ones I found. It didn't take long but I ended up opting to use some non-lexical conversation sounds (interjections) in a few of the lines. Hopefully it does the...
You're right, the alternatives I mentioned do not get the job done so they were just used as quick examples.
However, the general idea here is that there's a bit of playfulness that's intended there and omitting it altogether would just be missing the point. It's similar to statements like...
I only briefly looked at some of the mails, I did notice the slight awkwardness with the use of "as if" but decided to leave it as it was. "Nante" is just a tricky term to translate because depending on how it's used, it could just add emphasis to a statement or be similar to the use of prefixes...
Edited the rest of the open scripts, and they're looking pretty good for now.
I wasn't planning on touching the mails but with this out of the way, guess I might as well if no one gets to finishing them before I do.
Just a quick update on the open scripts, I finished editing the files up to 291 and I think the majority of script/grammatical errors were there this time around since they weren't open for editing last time. As for the rest, I'll run through them again a bit later when I have the time...
It's always good to see more people offering to lend a hand.
On that note, while I was going over some of the open scripts, I noticed something that I think I should point out since there are others expressing interest in editing them. Needless to say, even though previous editors have already...
Update: All of the current open scripts have been edited.
Of course, I'm not perfect so there's bound to be a few mistakes here and there so it'd be great if someone else can give them a second once-over.

I guess the problem here is finding the right wording.
In that case, what makes the most sense to me is:
1) I remember a quiet area where I can spend time with my girlfriend.
2) I recall seeing a secluded area where I can be alone with my girlfriend.
I'll go ahead and edit them in...
This seems like a fun project, so I wanted to help out with the script editing.
I decided to work backwards from the last file. So far, files 318-312 are edited.
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
