    I finally found the root of my problem. The issue was the SD cards. The first one I had was a 2GB Sandisk I had just bought. Apparently, it is corrupted. I also tried some no name card, and a 1GB Kingston. All gave the same results. I was digging through my PC crap and found an older 2GB...

    After another 2 hours, I'm still no where. I cannot understand why some WAD files install perfectly, yet others do not. I can't believe I have bad SD cards (I've tried 3 now) and that the 6 or 7 WAD files of the same game are ALL bad.

    Defend Your Castle runs for me...wait...I have the NTSC version. I can't believe that the only WADs I can find are bad and corrupt, but you could be right. Man it's driving me nuts! Super Mario Brothers 3 will not work. Every WAD I get fails with the 1022 error.

    Yup. 3.2U... I've installed everything I can think of. Like just now... I was able to install Altered Beast and Columns, but failed trying to install Blades of Steel with the same error.

    I get them from REMOVED under one of their forums. No starfall. No free the wads. I can try that. I have not done the IOS downgrader and CIOS downgrader. I'm not 100% sure how that stuff works. How do I know which IOS's I have?

    I've never tried to install 3.2U. My console was in 3.2U when I installed the Homebrew, etc. No updates have been done since. My other Wii was 3.4U but it doesn't work either. Like I said, most everything works accept these dang Nintendo WADs.

    For what it is worth...it seems like they are all Nintendo game WADs. Posts merged 3.2x? I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that. I'm currently on 3.2U.

    Just installed CIOS_fix.WAD again and no change. nutta_nic - There has got to be something wrong with my machine. Grant it, they won't play on your machine, but they will at least install. I don't even get that far. I cannot figure this out at all...

    NTSC-U region. And it's SUPPOSED to be an official Virtual Console game. Not sure if I can post links like that. Sorry if I pissed off a mod. That's another one for Super Mario 3. I've tried 4 different WADs for SMB3. Yet, other ones work fine.
