Firmware 23.0.1 released for Switch and Switch 2, makes games sometimes boot faster

SOMETIMES boot faster? What the hell is that even mean? You either have the fast boot or you don't! Imagine booting up Mac or PC and it takes a few second 1 day and the next it could be a min or two.

'Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition' launches on Nintendo Switch 2

Ok, just read that there's no save transfer either. So, if I somehow decide to pick up the S2 version when it's on sale or whatever I have to start from nothing? This is a massive JRPG, sure there's no NG+ but you can go back to the earlier chapters with the current levels and equipment after...

Nintendo awarded $4.5 million in Switch piracy lawsuit

It's just reddit in general. 75% of redditors are just F'ed in the heads. The funniest thing about this is the actual site(s) that host the actual iso for not just the Switch but the rest of Nintendo games, PS4&5, Xbox 360 as well as PC games are still out there and has been for years. Most of...

'Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition' launches on Nintendo Switch 2

No upgrade for the S1 version is fucking BS. It's the same game but now in 60fps and higher resolution. Still, it's an amazing game. 120 hrs just flew by.

What song are you currently listening to?

Been listening to the old 90s UK stuff lately. The youth was indeed wasted on the young. Anyway, this is Lush - Nothing Natural from 1991.

The weekend is here, what are you playing?

I'm playing Taking my kids to the ball game, Swing by Safeway for groceries, BC Cannabis for some pre-rolls, pick up my wife's power wheelchair from the maintenance folks. And if they don't want to go to the beach later, I can hopefully put in an hour or two of Star Wars Zero Company. :creep:

Kojima Productions partners with XBOX for the development of 'PHYSINT', after PlayStation steps away

To be expected. Death stranding 1&2, while I kinda like the game, didn't reach the financial performance target they were hoping for. Sony is not about to put in another hundreds of millions to fund his novelty project as his Exec buddies at Sony have mostly left the company in the past couple...

September 2026 Nintendo Direct recap, new Metroid and Kirby games on the way

Saga 2 Revenge of the Seven was alright and Saga 3 seems to be similar. That Persona 6 though, low effort is an understatement.
