EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition - Rumble seems to trigger in-game reset

I really wonder if this is just a matter of voltage. I tried using rechargeable lithium ion AAs that are rated for 1.5 volts and the same thing happens.

USB Loader GX - Black screen while loading game

I encountered the same issue. Here is my report: This only happens with Wii titles for some reason. Not sure why the double-post happened. I started 'fresh' by following wii.guide, including what I assume is the latest version of d2x cIOS Installer. UPDATE: It looks like forcing NTSC 60 in...

EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition - Rumble seems to trigger in-game reset

It...doesn't happen with new alkalines. Very interesting. I've been checking the CleanJuice battery pack as well the RetroModding one. I'm assuming that they are about the same in terms of voltage? Guess I'll have to buy another shell as well.

EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition - Rumble seems to trigger in-game reset

It is actually a pre-modded GBA with an AGS-101 screen with brightness control. The lowest brightness is what I use anyway to save on battery life. I did see a flex cable when I took the GBA apart out of curiosity. I think it connects the LCD screen to the motherboard. It seemed secure. In my...

EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition - Rumble seems to trigger in-game reset

1 and 2 may be difficult to troubleshoot at the moment. I didn't expect that I would need a soldering kit one day. When you say 'rumble cause instantaneous disconnection', that's disconnection from what? As for 3, black Eneloop Pros are exactly what I use.

EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition - Rumble seems to trigger in-game reset

This is a strange one. I have tested this on Drill Dozer and Pokemon Pinball - Ruby & Sapphire. Both are No-Intro ROM dumps (Pokemon Pinball has had this patch applied to it). The rumble feature works, but it also causes the game to reset. This is typically triggered by pressing any buttons...

EZ-FLASH Omega Definitive Edition RTC keeps resetting

The new batteries finally arrived. After replacing, I set the time in the kernel interface, shut the GBA off and turned it back on after a few hours. The time matched up with my desktop perfectly. It looks like it was just a dead battery after all. Thanks. It's stuff like this that has me...

EZFlash Omega DE - Issues playing Classic NES Series titles.

I have no interest in those particular games and I agree that the series isn't the best way to play those NES titles (original hardware or FPGA device is, in my view), but this does raise some concerns about the EZ-Flash Omega DE's overall compatibility with GBA titles, does it not? Is it, or is...

EZ-FLASH Omega Definitive Edition RTC keeps resetting

I'll have to wait until they arrive. Believe it or not, I don't happen to have CR1025s lying around. It only jumps ahead a few decades after turning it off and on again. So, it doesn't really happen while I'm staying at the kernel interface. If it's been powered off for an hour or so and I turn...

EZ-FLASH Omega Definitive Edition RTC keeps resetting

After setting the time on the flashcart itself and powering off, the clock either resets to the default time (year 2000), or to the year 2085 or something. Is this caused by a flat battery or is there something else at play here?

EZFlash Omega DE - Issues playing Classic NES Series titles.

This does indeed appear to be an issue on Kernel 1.03 and firmware 4.0: https://datomatic.no-intro.org/index.php?page=show_record&s=23&n=1499 Clean as clean can be.

Hacking Game compatibility issues with Dragon Ball Z games (Omega Definitive Edition)...

I can confirm that this is fixed for Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku and Dragon Ball Z: Taiketsu. No forced settings and currently on Kernel 1.03 and firmware 4.0.

That's great. What was the problem and how did you solve it?

Hacking EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition GBA boot intro when loading games

This is sort of minor, but from I have seen in videos, loading games through the EZ Flash menu does not lead to the GBA BIOS intro being shown. Is there some sort of setting which enables this so that it's always shown and not just before the EZ Flash menu appears? Call me crazy, but as someone...
