    I don't think I can, at least I can't find an option for it anywhere. Still, the reason I'd prefer the 8 gyms beaten is for all the events/trainers/key items that are involved (especially with team rocket and the kimono sisters).

    Hacking Did AKAIO 1.5.1 changed sav format??

    Since I updated none of my Pokemon (Diamond and Platinum) save files would open in Pokesav or PPSE-DS >_< Pokesav loads them but keeps every text field blank and PPSE-DS gives an IO error... >_< Was something changed in the update, will I need to go back to 1.5?

    Beta testing an emulator isn't really an easy thing to do, I wouldn't be surprised if the GBA and SNES emulators are what are slowing them down.
