    I just love how people complain about Gateway not releasing their stuff. Isn't funny how the Clones haven't released anything either. I bet the Clones are also waiting for Gateway to release their stuff also so they can do what is best copy it. I just love people getting upset. Just sit back...

    Well thought I had a sporting chance in Week 3 :nds: . I didn't win that battle but maybe I can win the war :yaysp: (Final Week). Maybe this year my personal goal will be to be more active on GBATemp. I know I am new but hey you need to start sometime. :psp:

    As far as I know there is no known exploit or hack from anything above 4.5. Some time in the future there might be but as for right now. Sorry you are out of luck.

    You might try Walmart. I got mine about a month ago from Walmart and it had firmware 4.4 on it. Otherwise I would try and return it and try another place.

    I think gateway will stay around for a while. a perfect example is the PS3. Look how long it took to find a hack/jb for that. I believe it took years. there were quite a few once it was released. Also look at what firmware is needed for that. You need to have a console on 3.55 or less...

    Gateway 3DS only works on firmware 4 - 4.5. That is all. I bet you were probably reading about EMUNAND which works with 7.1 however in order for Gateway to function and work as intended your firmware needs to be between 4 and 4.5.

    I know this isn't much but here is my humble opinion. I think you should be able to modify and do whatever you want to a game as long as you are not effecting anyone else but yourself. But as soon as that modification starts to hurt other people and cause other people issues like using a hack...
