    Hacking FTP / Network Access

Thanks for the suggestions... I believe I did use SMB at one point in the past to access my PC from the Wii. With my PCs now on Windows 10, I imagine that's even more of a headache than it was on 7. I will try again with WiiXplorer and FTPii, checking my network settings, then move on to SMB if...

    Hacking FTP / Network Access

I've done it in the past. I'm not worried about the time to transfer, I'll happily queue it up before bed one night. But to disconnect my HDD that is wired through my entertainment center every time I want to add a 'file' is a serious pain in the ass. I guess I need to diagnose the error a bit...

    Hacking FTP / Network Access

Hi Everyone, I recently re-connected my Wii and am in the process of getting my setup reconfigured. I've got everything updated, loaders installed and I've made the update to NTFS storage from WBFS for usb loaders. What is everyone using for network access to their USB HDD's? My setup is fairly...

Hardware Need a Wireless Headset for PS3

I have Bluetooth Headphones that work great. They have a built-in mic for voice-chat, and stereo speakers for playback. I use it with my phone for music(/phone calls), and for gaming on the ps3. Mine are Motorolla HT820's.

    Homebrew Mplayer-CE

MKV is HD (HD= High Definition). The wii is not HD. It will always have trouble with this format.

Homebrew wifi for ds through the wii

Sounds like an issue with your wireless router, not your DS. Read up on your router, and try adjusting some settings. It could be something as simple as your encryption. I would research into this, you're likely to have better results than waiting for someone to custom-make you a homebrew app.

Hardware Getting a couple wireless GC controllers, which one?

Pelican has a wireless GC controller (I've since forgotten the name) that is the closest thing you will get to a WaveBird. I picked one up for about $25 (CAN) @ walmart, and have absolutely no regrets. Its a great controller, and is exactly like the GC controller except the right analog is...

    Hacking Whats wrong with DVD+R/DL?

The games you are talking about all play fine from USB Loader. Perhaps its time to update your loader app... As for playing GC backups, it seems unlikely you'd be burning them to a DL DVD... Hardly worth it. Just use a standard DVD-R, and still get 3 GC games on a disc.

Misc should be a wired connection ALWAYS the better choice?

As a general rule, I always state that a wired connection is better than Wi-Fi... The exception being the Wii. The compatability isn't 100% for the Lan Adaptor, particularily with Homebrew Apps. Follow some of the suggestions above, you should not have any problems getting your wii online if...

Hacking Disc Drive LED hack for Preloader

So the question remains, is/has this been converted into a Preloader/PriiLoader hack? How hard would it be to do...

    Hardware Download miis

An easier solution is the official Check Mii Out Channel. In here you can browse categories from all different creators, and simply import them into your Mii Plaza... If you care, you can also enter and vote on weekly contests, eg. Make the best Mario, or whatever. Its a fun channel for...

Hacking Disc Drive LED hack for Preloader

There is absolutely no explanation of how this program works... Have you used it? and is it a matter of running the app from HBC/Banner Bomb and on it goes? Please give us some details of you have used it before. Thanks

    Homebrew Mplayer_CE + deinterlace filter?

How choppy are we talking about? And what format/size was the file you played? I would be eager to enable deinterlacing for my standard .AVI movie (~700mb), but if its adding extra slowdown, its probably not worth it. Let me know please, I'm curious.

    Hacking Help installing CoverFloader

This is your problem... You need a Trucha patched IOS to install it. If the problem persists with the wad for Coverfloader, just install the .dol and files to your Homebrew Channel. You can always use a forwarder channel if you want it on your system menu.
