    I'm pretty sure it's your rom Wotofock, try to get a clean ROM, and specially a NO-INTRO rom. If any of your games have (infuriatingly stupid <team something>) intros they will have problems.

    Hi, I've been having problems saving with many games, some say "saved" but wont, like Advance Wars, and others just won't let me save, like FF Tactics and Tactics ogre. I have re-flashed the latest firmware and kernel, re-installed the loader, swapped sd card, but nothing works. Any ideas...

    Thank you SO MUCH, just did the mod using a 220uf 25v capacitor (after testing a 100uf25v) and I'm super happy without that 'humm', I didn't notice much difference from the 100 to the 220, and placebo effect might have gotten into my ears feeling the 220 with a tiny bit more bass as Z80 here...

    This happened to me with 1.76, my mini sd card had a bad formatting that time, plus it used to give me problems getting files (Roms) damaged from time to time. I would suggest you to re-format your sd card to FAT16 (or simply FAT) in case it's formatted as FAT32.
