    Ok, so I had the time today to check if adjusting the laser was the issue and sadly I still receive an error has occurred message when the game starts to boot past the gamecube logo.

    So, I am a bit new to modding, and at the time I didn't think of soldering using short cables, so sadly I did solder it directly to the board. Though I will check if the laser needs tuning and will update you if that fixes my issue.
