    Thanks I'll have to check that one out too. The new one should be here later this week, I'm hoping it doesn't have the same issue. I guess we'll see, if it doesn't I'll refund it entirely and look into other options. Are there any recommended places to buy unpatched switches?

    So as an update, I grabbed my patched switch from home at lunch, and I was able to get it immediately detected on my PC at work. This leads me to believe that it's something with this switch, likely maybe something with the USB.
