    Hardware GLOD? But not?

    so I may have been irresponsibly FTPing game files over to the hard drive while the game they're for was running to test a possible mod at the time, but I'm not entirely sure that's related to what happened. Screen went black and sound stopped, doesn't get better with reboot, resetting video...
