    How did you update Nintendont? I went into the vWii and updated Nintendont from there, but it didn't fix this issue. Not sure if that's a different version of Nintendont and I have to update the WiiU's version, or if I need to manually update...? Halp.

    issue has been resolved with help from another member by using the FTP from Wii U HBC and replacing vWii sys files. Bricked vWii's can be brought back from the unbrickable!

    Reporting back: @Kafluke @HunterMK8 HBL2HBC does not work unfortunately. It loads to the same vWii black screen. The way in which I bricked my vWii is just careless and stupid, so please excuse me: I modded my original Wii years ago and when Zelda BOTW came out, I got a WiiU and modded it, so...

    @Kafluke I followed the FlimFlam69 guide when I did the vWii Smash hack: https://github.com/FlimFlam69/WiiUTutorial/wiki/7:-vWii-Modding I also used bluedump-mod-master and xyyzy in HBC on the vWii Does that help?

    Late to the party, but I have a hacked/working WiiU that I've bricked the hacked vWii on. I can use the WiiU as per normal (hacked games work fine as well), but when I boot to vWii, it goes black screen, a Wii logo flashes on the gamepad, and then all is frozen and unresponsive from there...
