Ah, so GCReEx/DiscEx aren't converters so much as extractors/repackers - the ISO format is the same. That makes more sense. :) I didn't realise DML could boot folders, so I'd been unpacking then repacking each game just to get rid of the garbage data, but if doing away with ISOs is faster then...

Thanks, I did try CleanRip, and it picked up whatever I threw at it. Didn't generate a "sys" folder though (not sure if it's needed). Would like to see CFG Loader handling it all though, and I'm not sure GCReEx is working 100%. Last night, having otherwise finished my dumps, I set it up to...

Tested the latest one. I've now been able to rip the last of my games. :) ... with the exception of the second discs for the two-disc ones. Not sure what to make of it... If I try to rip the second discs with the first ones still on the SD, it errors out saying they're already ripped. If I...

Yep. My point is that CFG Loader already has code to deal with this for Wii games, so it'd probably be easiest to use that with GC games as well (instead of trying to create a new filter).

Thanks, this indeed solves the character stripping and a few more games rip. :) It reveals a new problem along the same lines, unfortunately. Sticking with the AUF example, the full title turns out to be along the lines of "007: Agent Under Fire". It seems the : is tripping it up now, as I no...

When you say that, have you actually tested the latest revisions to make sure you're not getting any title cropping? I'll give CleanRip a try. :)

Ah, good timing - I'd about run out of discs when I spotted your post. Guess I missed that version - I'll get my subsequent updates from the code project, thanks! :) Anyway, that particular copy allows me to rip some games I couldn't before (such as Super Mario Sunshine, which wouldn't even...

I've been ripping GameCube discs using the r31beta airline38 linked here, but it's choking a bit. I think it has something to do with name detection. To start with, the folders the games get stored in each have the first four characters stripped off. Pikmin, for example, gets "in [GPIP01]"...

I'm told the redirect has been fixed, though it seems the test builds (like the one airline38 linked above) use the new links anyway.

Yes, and there's another such report here. I believe they've changed their link structure or something. It's probably at least somewhat related to the domain name shift to gametdb.com late last year - it seems the loader will need an update to address it, in any case. And before anyone asks...
