    Brilliant! That worked. I put the font cia in updates folder on SD and then tried to install sysUpdater using FBI which didn't appear to do anything but after restarting I've got the proper readable system font. Fonts a lot. ;) (Apologies for the naff pun)

    I 'formatted' the console and ran through the finalising guide posted here. Unfortunately it still hasn't got rid of the unreadable custom font added by the previous owner. :shit:
