I was just pointing out that it IS possible to have forced widescreen with non stretched 2D elements, because people were claiming it wasn't possible, or at least harder to do than it...

    One of the force widescreen options in Swiss will force 16:9 but not stretch the HUD/in game text. I forget which option it is off the top of my head though. So it is in fact possible to do through patches.

    Not true. Swiss also supports booting games/homebrew from WODE, Wiikey Fusion, Wasp Fusion and backup discs on both GC and Wii. Home made SD gecko's are not hard to wire up either. That is unless you're on a WiiU. Then you're screwed I guess. :/
