Homebrew Question Retroarch crash when attaching joycons
Having both joycons attached and then reattaching them in Retroarch causes the app to crash. This applies no matter if I start Retroarch with either none, one or both joycons attached and then attach one or both/ reattach both joycon. Sadly, I've never thought about exactly when this started happening. I'd guess early on, but not immediately. I cannot tell you the amount of times Windows has claimed that my SD card needed to be repaired. I can't seem to remember what I did that would have caused those prompts by mishandling...- ArviDroid

Hello. Whenever I play a game, Wii or Gamecube, weird scrolling lines appear on the screen. Sometimes they are thinner and other times thicker, but they are almost always present. I can't think of any other culprit than the SD card at this point. Windows has warned many times that the SD card was damaged and then has repaired(?) it. Also, I've formatted it, without the problem being resolved; perhaps a corruption can't always be resolved by formatting?- ArviDroid

I got it in a game while using a unsupported format (.bps) game patch, but didn´t get it when having turned it off. No, there were no errors shown. It seems that the cause was a chip not being firmly inserted. I had to disassemble my 3DS and push it down into place. No crashes since then.- ArviDroid

I see that you liked this post @VanPhoenix. Unfortunately my claim on that post was incorrect. The problem was with a chip not being firmly inserted, inside of my 3DS.
