    I tried to replace the fuel gauge chip by another one (know good) now th console do not power on anymore No shorted cap anywhere after analysis Even trying to replace the 'original" fuel gauge, same beahivour, i might have burnt something any lead on how to test ? thank you

    today i tried with a new PI3USB chip, no luck. Same beahviour. Data comm + charging is ok in both directions. Chokes are not shorted neither the caps to GND.

    i've checked every single capacitor or resistor, nothing obvious. Is there a table of value for the resistors ?

    I've soldered a new USB-C connector. Data transfert and charging are OK in both orientations, so my guess is the problem is elsewhere.

    Hello everyone Bought a nintendo switch, non patched, out of service. Replaced the PI3USB chip, now the console works perfectly execept it does not dock. When placed in the caddie, the led turns GREEN, the LCD goes black but nothing shown on the TV (dock tested with an other console OK)...

    yes, sames values as before. Pin 28 : 0.4V / 2MegOhms (not shorted) Just noticed the shoke near the fuse at the USBC area was shorted After replacement nothing has changed.

    just replaced M92 chip, same behaviour... maybe the board inner layers are damaged

    yep exactly the same issue. i might try with another one (i have 2 pcb for spares laying around)

    you mean test voltage & short to gnd of these 3 ? if yes : 38 : 1.5V 39 : 2.8V 40 : 1.5V

    Big cap between the 2 mosfets : not shorted to GND Resistor next to pin 21 : 229.5 kOhms

    just reflowed the pins of M92 chip, still sames values, No short on 21-22 nor 22-23 Here's a close up look

    Ok, Here's a picture of the area and yes i've replaced the M92 chip. Pin 21 : OL Pin 22: 5,5MegOhms (and rising)
