Hacking Will the xbox one ever be hacked?

"ever" is a really long time lol so yes, but honestly I think Dev Mode and Gamepass are going to continue to severely slow the demand/desire to hack it. Plus another major reason to mod/hack a console back in the day was video player apps like Kodi etc, nowadays every thing under the sun plays...

Hacking Is there a way to install RetroArch for free on my Xbox One?

I don't understand how/why you can't buy a new developer account online? BigOnYa's post is a dead simple, no credit card needed, method. Buy a 20 dollar Visa pre-paid gift card IRL and then just use that online. Hmm another method I just thought of might be earning 10 dollar MS gift cards...

Hacking Is there a way to install RetroArch for free on my Xbox One?

How did you buy your developer account the first time? You really have absolutely zero ways to do an online payment? If you are worried about your dev account being banned I would create a new separate dev account (yes that will cost 20 more dollars) and only use that to upload your own Retail...

Love is in the air! February Mini-contest! *Contest Closed*

Lynne from Ghost Trick Phantom Detective! She is spunky, determined, smart, cute, funny (both intentionally and not), and all around awesome. Besides its one of my favorite games so that certainly helps. EDIT: If a mod feels the need to resize these images go ahead. For some reason...

Hacking Is it even worth it?

Being able to use the other multitude of homebrew is a huge plus in my opinion. For instance, I really need to copy over my Xenoblade save file to my Wii U from my PC (which itself is a backup of my Wii save.) Tell me a way to do that without hacks and I'd do it.

    Gaming ZombiU arena question *spoilers*

If you go back, then the arena will be repopulated with a few random zombies, but nothing as dangerous as the arena itself. It's also much darker as the lights are all out now. All of you loot, and then some, is kept in a lockpick-able room right past where you got your bugout bag. Once you get...

Homebrew channel on WiiU's VirtualWii mode (Not a release.)

You will just have to make sure you unplug your HDD every time your finish playing, and then plug it back in once you open the HBC. That should work. The real problem is... when you forget haha.

Uncharted: Fight for Fortune officially announced

If I had the Vita, I would definitely have gotten Golden Abyss, and if I have Golden Abyss, I might as well pony up the extra 5 bucks and get this as well. Looks like its got more depth than the 5 dollar price tag. All things considered though, this is a kinda wacky idea, especially when Vita...

GBAtemp Recommends Revival # 056 (Another World: 15th Anniversary Edition)

Great game! Very challenging though! Definitely requires you to think critically and try everything, while dying A LOT in the process. They just don't make games like they used to, that's for certain! I liked it when you could actually lose games.

This is why Nintendo fans are so awful.

Other M was a fine game, made terribly. The controls, graphics, and gameplay were tight/unique between the side scrolling and FPS switches. IT was the story, voice acting, believability (refusing to disobey orders and use your weapons when everything has obviously gone to pot? Yeah right.), and...

Wii U: Downloaded software can't be saved to the SD card, only to HDD

Not a dealbreaker, and doesn't effect me. The only thing that I see as a con from this revelation is that SD card slot related hacks, using malformed game data, won't be an option, no matter how slim a chance that was anyways. Although does anybody know if save data can be backed up to the SD...

Hardware Gamestop (US) Not holding Wii U Launch

As unsurprising as it may be, I was sad about the lack of midnight release for those consoles too. Consoles don't exactly come out every day. Why can't Gamestop, the only nationwide dedicated gaming shop in the US, be assed enough to hold a midnight launch? Riddle me this. Why hold midnight...

    Guild McCommunist Appreciation Thread

I figured the recent change from a female forum avatar to a Tobias one was rather telling. A Tobias fan would know if his dick was worth sucking, if you catch my drift. If you want to be dishing out bangers in the mouth to these kids though, you are doing it right man.

Hardware Gamestop (US) Not holding Wii U Launch

That's just depressing. Part of the fun of any console launch is the mad/deadly rush to pummel the daylights out of the minimum wage-slave behind the counter. I agree with Fear Zoa actually. They know they will sell their immediate stock, due to pre-orders, no matter if they are open at midnight...

In the EU we get 2 year warranty, but if we open a device the warranty gets void, so I'll just stick with getting a bigger micro sd card.

What is this lag, it shouldn't be lag between when you press a button and the corresponding action on-screen, people make a ruckus for less than that

    What lag?

Portal 2 takes 10-17 seconds longer to load from an SD card than from the internal SSD storage.
