    Warning, bringing some logic here. Has anyone heard of any MMO in the US besides WoW? Consider that, with the fact any non-Japanese consoles flops in Japan and there's some logic behind this decision. With fanboyism would die and critical thought would return... Hopefully those people stay on...

    Jtags can usually get online with Freeboot or whatever it's called. They don't usually stay on long, though.

    I'm sure the new Wii would still be behind current consoles. Nintendo is known for innovating, but they are not known for having powerhouse consoles.

    DQ 6 IS new for everyone outside the US. It was never released outside of Japan, unless you played a translation from a while back. Wanted to buy it, but after reading SE was going to cancel it... nope, they aren't getting my money. Hope they crash and burn.

    Gaming Is there anything I can do to play AP2.5 games on non LT+ fw?

    Don't mean to hijack, but this is along the same lines: I have a console with the dash right before this new one. It currently have the firmware that doesn't bother to do any wave/stealth check (console was banned). Will AP 2.5 be an issue for it or do I need LT+?

    Hacking New Firmware update is out!

    Weird that the changelog is lacking. They usually list the games that were fixed, or in the case of a overall general fix, flat out say "We've done ____ to fix compatibility for numerous games" or something similar.

    Any idea if this has a remote chance of being ported? I don't want to get a Wii just for this game... loved the last 2 Samurai Warriors.

    PS1/2 Softmod Playstation

    Varies from chip to chip. I'm sure a lot require some soldering, but some may be like the Xbox and be solderless. An emulator would be your best bet. No need to burn discs, fiddle with another console etc.

    Copyright HAD a purpose, but now it is just flat out abused. It need a MAJOR overhaul. Especially with the stupid 70yrs until public domain....

    hmmm... don't most (if not all) cheats just modify memory offsets etc. ? how can those be copyrighted? smells like a fear campaign, to me.
