    I used this guide to update to 4.2 : http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=171901 It worked great without a problem. Now when I load a 8gig sdhc card it will recognize it fine (clicked on SD button in wii menu) but when I try to load homebrew browser through the homebrew channel it wont read...

    Hacking I just have one thing to say about this forum...

    Starting to feel like 4chan in this thread. I have tried not to ask a bunch of questions because most of the time I use the search function. And more then a few times messed my Wii up, only to have one of you help me fix it. Just thought a "Thank you" was in order nothing more, nothing less...

    I love you guys, I did the same thing...loaded preloader changed from 60 to 249 and bammo back in business.

    Hacking I can't install WADs anymore :(

    get the sdhc version of wad manager....it worked for me when I couldn't load wads. (thank you bloodlust)

    I installed the IOS60 Patcher tut to the T. Should I try reinstalling it again? I watched everything and didn't get an error once.

    I am not, I was using the 4gig SD (non SDHC) card with 1.3 Wad manager. If thats just my problem may you all kick me in the ace.

    Just to add I restarted the Wii a bunch of times last night and the wad manager was still running fine.....just odd. Do you think backing up my SD contents and formating it again would help any?

    Last night I decided to update to menu 4.0 installed everything fine in this order: 1. cIOS36_rev9-Installer.dol 2. Firmware update 4.0 (waninoko's) 3. IOS60 Patcher 4. USB-Loader_v1.1 Everything installed perfectly, and everything even the wad manager 1.3 worked fine last night. Shut it...

    I personally don't mind, if it's real great, if not oh-well. I'm having fun figuring it all out, it's not like I'm out anything (unless I brick something)
