Remake of the first NES game, Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ry? to Hikari no Tsurugi (which was remade on SNES too).
The game offers a graphical enhancement as well as utilising the dual screens on the Nintendo DS and its online capabilities. The game's story centres on the royal prince Marth as he embarks on a quest to win back his home kingdom and rescue his kidnapped sister. Characters that were not present in the original version have been introduced in this version
No release date just TBA 2008 for Japan.

I wonder what's taking so long, they made 2 GBA titles in the amount of time it's taken for them to do this title. I wants nao!!!
It'll be new for a lot of people seeing that the first English Fire Emblem was on GBA. Personally I'd prefer a cart with 2 or 3 games on it.ferrariman said:

I wished they kept the traditional GBA-style graphics. I'd prefer a clean looking 2D feel over a poor looking pseudo-3D feel. :\

yes! Although the graphics aren't as good as they could be (handmade sprites ftw), I'm still looking forward to it.

I like this "improved" graphics, but keeping the "original" feel..
I wouldn't really like if they changed graphics drasticly, but then again, it would be shame if they kept the very same look like on GBA..This screens look very appealing to me..

As a fan of fire emblem i have to sat I don't like the look of those new half 3D sprites, but It's fire emblem IT CAN'T SUCK!
I have played Fire Emblem Gamecube and that was fantastic, but I heard that Fire Emblem Wii wasn't so good, then again critics sometimes review classics to harshly, I will buy it some time.

Not a big fan of those graphics, I actually think I like the graphics on the GBA better. I'm sure it'll still be a good game though.
