Post your essential (favourite) Playstation Portable homebrew games/applications in this topic and they'll be added to the list, for others to refer to when deciding which game to play.

If there is a game already on the list that you think should not be there let me know and it'll have a point removed (so if there are more negative than positive votes then the game will be removed entirely off the list).

You may also recommend some more games in a future post but: (1) you must not repeat any game you have already mentioned and (2) you must make a new post, do NOT edit your previous post as it may not be seen.

With homebrew, would be awesome if you could link to the homepage or other highly commended source for that homebrew, to make it super easy for people to find your recommendations (providing its all legal and legit)

Format completely plagiarised from dice, yay dice.

And -1 for IRshell. Buggy piece of shit, even after you configure everything perfectly, the feature you installed it for will refuse to work... at least that's my experience. And if you're going to modify the firmware so much with moduels from old firmwares and kernel patches, why not just release your own CFW, IRshell edition >_>

Also do tools like UPMS/UPT Installer count or do plugins count?

Everyone should use CWCheat and PSP Filer.

PSP Filer, among other things, lets you rearrange your XMB game list.

homers rin is the dumbed down ver of the regular rin meant for when 2.00 was hacked since there was no 1.50 kernal they, homer released his own ver which stripped a lot of the features away to make it "compatible"

also features many sound problems when entering the rin menu then going back to the game

aka
Rin v1.32 was the last official release
it should not be counted as homers

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
