People often complain that they don't update much.

Really though, if they don't update, it's often because nothing needs to be updated.

Thing is, because of my b0rked Lite, mine is still on 1.56B4...

Awesome, a pokemon fix. I haven't updated my firmware since 1.56 Final but I feel like this is a worthy enough cause.

EDIT: Oh great their forum is down. Anybody willing to upload a mirror?

The freeze was based on the amount of events you run into. Have you tried just doing events, and not encounter any wild pokemon.

No the site is down at the moment. It doesn't surprise me, as it usually happens when a new firmware is released, and given the importance of this one, it was inevitable that their site crashed under the load.
It's better to not download from their official servers, use Filetrip instead.

In what respect? If you are referring to Pokemon HG/SS, Acekard users have been happily playing them since 'release', not since today.

Seems to be working, i just played non stop for 4 hours with some grinding from start to up to the first gym battle, got the egg, called some people, ect ect no freezes yet
