Update

AngbandDS is a DS port of Angband, a rogue dungeon crawler. This homebrew projects aspires to port the game to the NDS. While it is still in development, the DEMO is highly playable. If you have played Nethack or Powder this game will be instantly familiar to you. Please see the homepage, linked below, for more information.

Cool, I was looking for something to break up my Powder runs, they get a bit samey after a while and it's hell trying to get it to compile for the DS on windows.
So hooray, Angband. Wonder how CrawlDS and Nethack are doing.

Angband is in fact the original game for this series. FAangband is just one of the many varients.

The person doing the DS port of Angband is also working on a FAngband and Oangband ports to the DS.

my understanding was he was porting a port of faangband to the ds under the name angband using the source for the faangband version. -- upon second view your right, i'll make adjustments to the news post.
