I asked Emukidid If It was going to be released By Christmas and he responded:

"No, sorry, it's a rumour. We are going to release a version hopefully in the next month or so"

I'm really not that interested in N64 emulation anyway, the VC is fine >_>. WiiSX, on the other hand, I am much more interested in.

Except....you know....you cant play the best games on the VC: Majora's Mask, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing, etc...

Also, the N64 VC games takes up a ton of blocks.

Will this update make it worth using? Every N64 Rom I've tried with the current version is unplayable. Either it won't play at all or the frame rate is too slow.

Same here, framerate too slow, text unreadable or some graphical glitches.
Hopefully this update is much better

Same here. I still have my N64, and I bought some games on Virtual Console... I don't need emulation at all. I don't have a PSX though, and I'd love to play my PS1 games on the Wii!

Indeed, I'm hating the fact that the Wii has so less memory, it's really annoying

Yeah good points I guess. I still think it's more important to emulate systems that aren't on VC though, like Playstation.

i have to agree with you guys.

i think wiisx project should be the most important.

playing some psx games on nintendo console would be awesome, like the never seen before on N castlevania and final fantasy games

also because it's already in a very good state

It's still in alpha stages, you can't really expect a alpha release to perfectly play games like it should?

Obviously that would be nice but the Wii64 emu is barely working now, there's no way a stable ps1 emu is on the way. I would love to have Wii64 working smoothly, I'd rather play ROMs off an SD card than filling up the Wii's "hard drive" and be limited to nintendo's selection of like 12 games.

No, I was just saying that to confirm it, so people don't have to mention it anymore.
I didn't expect much from the alpha release, and I didn't get much.

Still some games are quite playable. Try Mario Kart 64 for instance.

I didn't expect much from the alpha release, and I didn't get much.

Still some games are quite playable. Try Mario Kart 64 for instance.

Yeah I'm really not complaining, I can't code or anything myself. I'm just merely stating that an update will be nice! I understand it's in alpha and I'm just hoping that the next update will be a decent update and not just a small patch.

But trust me, they both exist, and I have played them with the classic.
