The build quality looks like it went down a bit. I would buy, if i had money left.. ='( is there a difference between this one and the old one?
 
That's very cheap, especially considering it's one of the best carts available! I heard the build quality of the hardware has also been improved (with the AceKard 2.1), so it's one of the best choices now. As far as I know, only the DSTT is cheaper (at 11 dollars) but it has less options and worse support.
 
Man that's cheap... I don't even want to imagine what sort of conditions these are made in

Maybe they have a trained team of chained monkeys that are assembling them? Then again,.. that would be a bonus.
 
Prices sure have gone down A LOT in the past few years. I remember when the first DS flashcarts ran at around $60 shipped. (Or more) And before that, GBA flashcarts used to cost over a hundred. Now we can get a great flashcart and a 2GB MicroSD for about half the price of some games. It's almost absurd.
 
i dont play any of the 4 games that have wii connectivity... but if this is what your talking about...

Aint seen an answer to the AK2... but aint seen anything saying it cant.
 
My R4 isn't detecting as well in my DS these days so I just placed an order for the AK2 and a 3-in-1 adapter. I took care to order a seperate MicroSD adapter as I could use one that doesn't blow.
 
Well to make these things it takes like a few slots and on chip. Its a one chip solution basically. And there's hardly anymore R&D going on so I'd expect them to be extremely cheap now...DS piracy is officially mainstream.

I think I'm going to pick one of these up and a 1GB microSD card using those DX points I've accumulated over the past 2 years. My SuperCard CF would like to retire.

Same here. Oh well. I'll purchase an Acekard2 some other day. Um how does the Acekard2 do in comparison with the Edge?
 
I heard a few things about the Acekard2. The newest version is something like 2.1 right? If I order from Dealextreme, would I get this newest version.

And I also heard of people getting defective ones a few months ago. Has this been fixed? And is there any way AK2 can harm my DS?

What you said, only my gf has a R4.

I got my AK2 for free btw, but this is a very low price, this is like 8 euros and 30 cents...
