The new thing since you left is GDB support for atmosphere. This allows hardware break point on memory read which makes some previously not possible hacking possible and some easier. Now more people are making ASM cheat codes. For many games it is almost as easy as doing pointer search.

the GDB part? its built into atmosphere. As far as i know, there are only two programs that can connect with it: ida+switch plugin and Ghrida. for more information this thread contain the know-how to get connected:

Here is a quick start summary:
1. Set up Atmosphere to load dmnt.gen2 in settings.ini. ( unfortunately there is now two version of dmnt, gen1 and gen2, gen1 supports cheatVM, gen2 supports GDB, only one can be attached to game at a time, so have to ask for detach in order to attach the other )
2. Install a PC client, I use IDA pro. Install EdiZon SE or Breeze.
3. Search for memory of interest with EdiZon SE or Breeze. ( be using dmnt gen1, I will just refer it as dmnt )
4. Add address to bookmark.
5. Fetch bookmark with pointer searcher SE.
6. Detach dmnt ( a button on pointer searcher SE will request dmnt to detach, requires noexs sysmodule bundled with EdiZon SE or Breeze to be enabled ).
7. Copy bookmarked address and set break point with IDA pro. Continue game until break point is hit. Look at ASM code that trigger the break. ( use IDA pro to request dmnt gen2 to attach to game, have to ask dmnt to detach before gen2 can attach )

I will write a more comprehensive tutorial later.

I still use noexs
i use these instructions:

target extended-remote Switch Ip adress Next give command to access the switch

info os processes I don't use this because i can see the game id in noexs but with this you can see wich proccess to acces

attach 136 Attacch gdb to the game

watch *0x = writes to use the address that you found in noexs or EdiZon SE or Breeze to watch watch acces this when it writes to it

awatch *0x =acces to use the address that you found in noexs or EdiZon SE or Breeze to watch watch acces this when it acces the address. Comes in handy when you want to open a menu en see what acces your money

continue Use this if the game freezes after finding a address

monitor get mapping 0x000000048b40af0c Use this to see the main address. But i look that up in noexs

set logging on Use this if you want to write your findings to a txt file

Tom had made a nice version of PointerSearch https://github.com/tomvita/PointerSearcher-SE/releases

And It is good to use Breeze for searching much faster
The PointerSearcher has commands to "dump" the memory and download the bookmarks.

However, it does not have a function to parse the noexes expression for each dumps currently

If the main character jumps, look for Moon Jump.
If you can find it, you can find speedups and wall escapes from there.
In other words, if you can hack the main character's separate information, you can find various information one after another.

WiiRd cheat engine for Wii/GC, i do not think there is another method to make cheats for them
note: Ocarina through GeckoOS you don't have to do any steps with PC to make cheats

if you mean a public website with a database for every Nintendo Switch game for download, No there isnt.

most cheats are posted in the cheat Group here then updated every few weeks in the Archive Zip
