So i bought a new controller for my switch since my old ps4 one is dying, I found a controller that looks exact like a ps5 controller but when i connected the controller with 8bitdo usb wireless adapter and i noticed a good amount of input lag so my question is is there a hidden tool for a homebrew switch to change the ms? sorry for bad english lol

I'm going to go with poor bluetooth implementation on the controller + additional time spent as the signals travel through the 8BitDo adapter and USB interface. If you're using CFW + Homebrew, I would see if you can connect the controller without the 8BitDo adapter via one of the sysmodules that understands a wide range of controllers.

Likely just the bluetooth implementation on the controller then, is it a name brand? I've switched my primary controller to a GuliKit King Kong Pro 2 and have noticed no lag with it. Before that I was using 8BitDo's Pro 2 and noticed some lag depending on how far I was from the console. A replacement does not exhibit the same symptom.

Base on what you wrote you probably bought a knock off dual sense controller.
