Game requires 14.0.0+, doesn't hurt to just go for 14.1.2 since AMS (and the rest) still supports it.
If the game still doesn't start after updating FW, visit the maintenance mode, after that it should work (I had to).
Nota bene: if you get an error code, just close it, press Home and go back into the game, then it works (or enable airplane mode if you didn't beforehand).

btw sir, would you please create cheat for road redemption v0? (it is the only motocycle game with 4 players split-screen campaign co-op) Mr.Wiimote created it (for player 1 only and if hp value changed, cheat doesn't work) but for a later version which already patched by game developer that later than v0, it is only for 2 players split-screen.
